seed pod

In the introduction to all 3D computer modeling, students were required to study repetition in nature. The seeds within the pod grow in an arrayed pattern within the pod. This project aimed to familiarize students to the user interface of Rhino. The primary commands used to create this model were "rotate", "loft", "stretch", "bend", "twist", and "mirror".

gothic aggregate

Inspired by the photos of gothic-style architecture, students generated a simple object that could be systematically duplicated and manipulated throughout an entire body. From the plan view, every side of the single module is visible.

bridge project

This project served as the introduction of modeling within Revit. Students were required to build a bridge satisfying specific dimensions and responding to the structure's site. "Adaptive components" and a "curtain wall" were two commands that students were forced to become familiar with.
